I am just a human

I am just a human.

Some one "leaked" news to a web based daily that I told and sent sms' to some 7 Johor DAP branches leaders that I was going to resign but denied I ever said so later. In fact I spoke to fewer than 7 branches chairmen but only sent sms to a single branch chairman.

I never denied that I had discussed with a few grassroots leaders and friends that I had felt disappointed towards red tape and arrogance shown by DAP and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders after the March 8 political tsunami and contemplating resigning from the State Chairman post. I also thought that We should be happy and enjoy the victory while quickly looking forward to the next step of political endeavour.

I am just a human who revealed his own feelings and emotions. People said politicians should be calm and cunning. Unless politics has been run like the Former Soviet Union where dissidents were sent to mental hospitals, why should we be afraid of expressing our down moods?

I finally decided not to resign as friends and members advised me that those who made mistakes should resign. If you don't, then why should you?

The present political system in Malaysia was built more than 50 years ago. Its weaknesses, among others, are the result of political monopoly by BN. This "monopolization" has deepened the corrupt practises in BN.

What is wrong with the polical culture of BN ? I believe people should know why BN is deemed a corrupted coalition and most of its leaders are arrogant. So, what makes them corrupted and arrogant ? The answer is simple, being big and influencial, its leaders do not need to answer to the Rakyat for wrong doings and most importantly, they fear to disclose own weaknesses. After lapsed of 50 years, the Rakyat starts to dislike this political culture.

In the case of Dr Boo, revealation of what is wrong and what is tight is paramount important to keep voters in the constituency and party members clear of your direction. After all, you are supported by people that subscribed to fair, efficient and democracy.

Keep up Dr Boo !
