On my recent visit to Le Xin Hemodialysis Centre, TUTA, Skudai, it was found out that H1N1 pandemic has been going on for more than three months, health care providers like hemodialysis cnters have not received any guidelines from the Ministry of Health. Better surveillance is much needed. Slow response and apathy from the Health Ministry is a great concern. My emergency to Johor State Assembly on 26th June was struck out as a matter of Federal Government's concern, and it is none of State Assembly's business.

sterility seems to be an easy subject. I was actually quite perturbed by the fact that no info was given to the hemodialysis nurses as how to edcuate the patients on hemodialysis. The staff nurses were not properly trained in sterilty and survellance on H1N1 prevention.
