Visit to Poliklinik Taman Ungku Tun Aminah

I Visited TUTA Government Polyclinic this morning. It was awefully crowded with about 50-100 patients being crammed in an area of about 1500 square feet. The Polyclinic has to set up a tent poutside the clinic to accomodate about 600 -700 patinets a day during H1N1 pandemics.
TUTA Polyclinic is being run in two shop lots at Jalan Pendekar 2, TUTA. A piece of land was allocated at Jalan Perwira TUTA for the purpose of building TUTA Polyclinic but it was somehow hijacked for a Petrol Kiosk construction.
I was informed that TUTA Polyclinic is open from 8am to 12 noon on Sundays for suspected H1N1 influenza patients (tel: 07-5560685) and Gelang Patah Health Clinic opens from 8am to 12 noon on Saturdays for the same purpose (Tel:07-5101252).
I have moved a motion in the next DUN sitting on 8th September, seconded by YB Dr. Mohamad Taslim ADUN Maharani.

Visit to Le Xin Dialysis Centre, TUTA, on H1N1 Prevention

On my recent visit to Le Xin Hemodialysis Centre, TUTA, Skudai, it was found out that H1N1 pandemic has been going on for more than three months, health care providers like hemodialysis cnters have not received any guidelines from the Ministry of Health.

Better surveillance is much needed. Slow response and apathy from the Health Ministry is a great concern. My emergency to Johor State Assembly on 26th June was struck out as a matter of Federal Government's concern, and it is none of State Assembly's business.

Open Fire and Car Arson

The open space between Block 50 and 51 Taman Ungku Tun Aminah flats has been a favourite place for littering for years. At 5:30pm 29th July, someone set fire on the rubbish littered there and a car parked next to it it caught fire! What a great scene! Malaysia boleh!

SWM wants to charge RM400 per truck-load of rubbish moved from the flats area now under the management of Management Corporation. It is really costly and the local council does not have the power to enforce it since the contract was awarded to SWM under the agreement at the Federal Level.

The residents pay assessment rates too besides maintenance fee to the MC. Who do you think should take full responsibility for this? Federal Government? Local Council? MC?or sure

Kpg Batu 8 1/2 Skudai: New Nrainage

Part of the drainage in Kpg. Batu 8 1/2 Skudai collapsed on 9th March this year and its repair work costing RM 70,000 was completed in mid-May. The work also included a concrete ground for garbage collection and a manhole cover. Of the only regret. the manhole cover has broken.

Visit Kpg. Poh Chee Leng with YB Er Teck Hwa

The developer which is in charge of developing the Skudai Army Camp has denied their responsiblity in causing flood in Kpg. Poh Chee Leng, Skudai despite local council's technical report stating that lack of a silt trap is the major cause of flash floods in Kpg Poh Chee Leng.

I brought YB Er Teck Hwa, MP Kawasan Bakri, to visit the site before he would bring the issue up in Parliament.

I am just a human

I am just a human.

Some one "leaked" news to a web based daily that I told and sent sms' to some 7 Johor DAP branches leaders that I was going to resign but denied I ever said so later. In fact I spoke to fewer than 7 branches chairmen but only sent sms to a single branch chairman.

I never denied that I had discussed with a few grassroots leaders and friends that I had felt disappointed towards red tape and arrogance shown by DAP and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders after the March 8 political tsunami and contemplating resigning from the State Chairman post. I also thought that We should be happy and enjoy the victory while quickly looking forward to the next step of political endeavour.

I am just a human who revealed his own feelings and emotions. People said politicians should be calm and cunning. Unless politics has been run like the Former Soviet Union where dissidents were sent to mental hospitals, why should we be afraid of expressing our down moods?

I finally decided not to resign as friends and members advised me that those who made mistakes should resign. If you don't, then why should you?
